FASTag is a reloadable Tag which can be stuck on your vehicle windshield that employs Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology for making toll payments through linked prepaid wallet eliminating the need for cash transactions at toll plazas. IndusInd Bank FASTag program is a part of National Electronic Toll Collection (NETC) implemented by National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) under the guidance of NHAI/IHMCL.

With FASTag, vehicles can pass through toll plazas without stopping, significantly reducing wait times this making highway travel more efficient and helps in reducing fuel consumption. IndusInd Bank Fastag Recharge Online

  • Recharge your FASTag using via any apps like BHIM/Google Pay/PhonePe etc
  • Use UPI ID as NETC.VehicleNumber@Indus for example if your registered vehicle number is AB12CD1234 then use NETC.AB12CD1234@Indus as your UPI ID to load your FASTag wallet
  • Enter the amount you want to recharge; enter the UPI PIN
  • All successful transactions shall be credited to wallet immediately

  • Login into your customer portal
  • Click on ‘Auto Top Up setting’
  • Enter required details

  • Recharge FASTag wallet using Bill Payment section in IndusMobile app or any other app.
  • Select biller name as ‘IndusInd Bank FASTag’ under ‘FASTag’
  • Enter the registered vehicle number & amount which need to be recharged
  • Upon successful payment the amount shall be credit to your FASTag wallet

  • Login into your customer portal
  • Go to ‘Wallet Recharge’ & click on ‘Add money’
  • Use any of the available modes like Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI etc to load the wallet with desired amount

  • What are the charges for FASTag?

  • How can I buy FASTag?

  • How can I avail a monthly pass?

    For issuing the monthly passes, customers need to reach out to the concerned Toll Plaza.

  • Do I need to use any specific lane at the toll plaza for FASTag?

    FASTag can be used in any toll plaza demarcated for FASTag usage.

  • How do I recharge my FASTag wallet?

    FASTag wallet can be recharged by various methods like UPI/BBPS/Payment Gateway/Auto Top Up for more details visit ‘Recharge’ section.

  • How do I update my KYC and how much time will it take for my KYC to get updated in the system?

    To update your KYC you typically need to submit your identification and address proof either online through the bank's portal or by visiting IndusInd Bank branch. The update process usually takes a few days or couple of weeks, depending on the procedures, and you'll receive a confirmation once it's completed.

  • How do I replace my tag and how long will it get for my tag to get replaced?

    • Click on ‘replace lost or Damaged Tag’ section on left side panel of the customer portal
    • Visit the nearest IndusInd Bank branch
    • Visit the IndusInd Bank Channel Partner from whom the Tag was purchased
  • Is there a fee applicable for replacement Tag?

    Yes, there is a fee of ₹100 including applicable taxes for replacement of your IndusInd Bank FASTag.

  • How many days are required to deliver the replacement Tag to my address?

    Your replacement FASTag shall be delivered within 3 working days.

  • How do I update my Vehicle Registration Number and when it will be updated?

    To update your Vehicle Registration Number for a FASTag, you generally need to submit a request either through the bank's online portal or at a branch, along with a copy of your vehicle's registration certificate (RC). The update usually takes a few days and you'll be notified once the update is completed.

  • What do I do if I do not have the Registration number for my new vehicle?

    You can register the FASTag using the CHASSIS number available on the sales receipt. The CHASSIS number needs to be updated with the Registration number within 180 days. You can either visit the customer portal or IndusInd Bank FASTag partner from whom you have purchased the Tag.

  • What happens if FASTag issued on CHASSIS number is not updated with vehicle number within 180 days?

    In case of ‘vehicle number’ not updated within 180 days the FASTag shall be blocked temporarily till the details are updated.

  • What is the tag closure process and when will my tag get closed?

    You can login into your FASTag customer portal by clicking here and register your request in ‘wallet/Tag closing’ on the left hand side panel. Your request shall be processed within 3 working days.
    Alternatively, you can visit the nearest IndusInd Bank Branch or Channel partner from whom the Tag was issued.

  • In case of two vehicles, can I use one FASTag for two vehicles?

    No, only one FASTag can be used for only one vehicle. You will need to use a separate FASTag for both vehicles.

  • Is there a cap for usage on a FASTag wallet?

    Yes, for minimum KYC wallet the limit of amount loaded per month is Rs 10,000 however you may convert your wallet into Full KYC and extend the limit to Rs 2,00,000 per month.

  • What do I have to do if I misplace my FASTag? What will happen to the account balance?

    In case of FASTag misplaced we would urge you to report the same to customer care @ 1860-210-8887 at the earliest and block the FASTag. You will be issued a replacement tag and your account balance is secure with us.

  • How would I know that the correct user fee has been deducted from my FASTag account?

    You may refer to an SMS alert you will receive post passing through toll plaza for the amount deducted from FASTag wallet.

  • How would I report an incorrect deduction and how will I get back the same?

    In case of incorrect toll deduction, you may raise a dispute to customer care @ 1860-210-8887. Your funds shall be reversed as per dispute cycle defined by NPCI from time to time.

  • What do I do in case my vehicle is lost/sold?

    In case of vehicles sold you can close the Tag by reaching out to customer care @ 1860-210-8887.
    Whereas in case of lost vehicle you can block the FASTag by calling customer care.

  • How Can I avail concessions on local vehicles?

    You can avail concessions on local vehicles by submitting required documents at the Toll Plaza.

  • What do I do in case of Harassment/ misconduct/ discourteous/ rude behavior of toll plaza staff?

    You can reach out to NHAI/IHMCL helpline 1033 and register a complaint.

  • Do I need to pay a security deposit in case of replacement Tag?

    No, additional security deposit is not required for replacement Tag.

  • What should I do, if the Toll Plaza system displays Vehicle number is hotlisted/low balance?
