AKRAME, HONG KONG
The eponymous fine-dining restaurant of chef Akrame Benallal. Located on Wan Chai’s Ship Street, Akrame is the second venture from two Michelin-starred chef Akrame Benallal.
In contrast to the aesthetic of many French fine-dining establishments, the restaurant’s interior is characterized by monochrome tones and the clean, understated and contemporary decor, mirrors chef Akrame’s style of cooking. With a focus on seafood, much of the produce used is sourced directly from France. In order to harness the seasonality of ingredients (and to keep things interesting), the set menus change on a monthly basis and patrons are able to select the number of courses they would like. Naturally, a French fine-dining experience would not be complete without a superb selection of wines, and an expert sommelier is on hand to recommend the perfect wines to complement the menu selections.
