IndusInd Bank - remit from India

You can remit your funds held in India from your Non-Resident External (NRE) Account, Non-Resident Ordinary (NRO) Account or NRO Deposit to your overseas account by visting our Forex Enabled IndusInd Bank branch or through an email instructions.

Non-Resident External (NRE) Account

Remit funds from your Non-Resident External (NRE) Account freely both principal amount and accumulated interest.

Non-Resident Ordinary (NRO) Account

Repatriate funds from your NRO Accounts upto US$ 1 Mn (or equivalent) per financial year (April 1 – March 31), subject to documentation requirements. This limit will apply to all NRO Accounts held with IndusInd Bank Ltd. as well as all with other financial institutions in India, is an aggregate amount across all categories of repatriation and excludes current income.

Terms & Conditions for Document Submission

We accept documents only in English. If the documents are in any other language, please provide a notarised translated copy in English along with the vernacular language document. If you repatriation covers multiple source of funds, we recommend that you provide the relevant documents for each source separately to ensure timely review of the documents provided.

Reserve Bank of India vide their circular (DBOB.AML.BC No 77/14.01.001./2006-07) dated April 13, 2007 has made it mandatory for all incoming and outgoing Remittances (Domestic and Foreign) to contain the account number, name and address of the remitter of the said funds in the payment message, in order to prevent and detect wire transfers used for funding terrorist activities.
