IndusInd Bank Cards on Google Pay

Experience a smarter way to make payments with Google Pay using IndusInd Bank Debit and Credit Cards. Google Pay uses a process called Tokenization to replace the sensitive card information with an alias called token which is then used for processing payments thereafter.

Google Pay platform can be used for bills payments, online shopping and payments at the nearby stores using the tokenized card. It offers a simple and convenient payment experience to the customer. Customers can make card payments using Google Pay app on their Android smartphones in three modes - via tap-and-pay at near field communication (NFC) enabled point-of-sale terminals, by scanning Bharat QR code at the merchant outlet as well as online payments without using the physical card.

How to use Google Pay?

  1. Download Google Pay on phones running Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or higher.
  2. Enter your phone number.
  3. Sign in with your Google account.
  4. Follow the instructions to secure your Google Pay app
  5. On the mobile device, open Google Pay application and follow below steps to add Debit/Credit Card:
  6. Tap on Profile > Payment methods > Add card.
  7. Enter the Card number, expiry date, CVV, and the Cardholder’s name and billing address.
  8. Tap “Save” to authenticate the Card details.
    1. Accept issuer Terms & conditions
    2. Choose verification method
    3. You will be asked for additional authentication via OTP
  9. You will receive the OTP via text message on the mobile number registered with the Bank. OTP will be auto read or can be entered it manually.
  10. After the card is verified, it is ready to be used for payment transactions
